BSNL Set to Launch Q-5G FWA Service With Quantum Tech Integration for Enterprises

State-run telecom operator BSNL is preparing to roll out its Q-5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service, combining 5G capabilities with quantum technology. Branded under “Q-5G,” this service will initially target enterprise customers, offering high-speed wireless broadband without the need for fibre-optic infrastructure.

BSNL’s Q-5G will operate through SIM-enabled routers using 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) architecture and aims to deliver enhanced data speeds and low latency. The service is designed to support smart offices, industrial automation, and high-bandwidth applications, positioning it as a future-ready connectivity solution.

According to officials, BSNL's FWA pricing will be competitive, focusing on performance and reliability for commercial users. The rollout aligns with the company's broader efforts to modernize its network and compete with private telecom players in the 5G domain. A public launch for individual users is expected in a subsequent phase.
