Aryan Khan is ready to step out of his superstar father’s shadow and into the spotlight with his directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. Premiering on September 18, 2025, the series has already created a fever pitch thanks to its grand preview hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Promising drama, action, emotions, and that unmistakable Bollywood extravagance, the show is assembling a cast that practically screams blockbuster.
Leading the charge is Lakshya Lalwani as Aasmaan Singh, a superstar with charisma dialed up to maximum. Lakshya, who first made his mark on television before leaping into films with the action hit Kill, seems poised to carry the weight of this ambitious series. Mona Singh, beloved for her work in 3 Idiots and acclaimed web projects, steps into the role of his mother, adding heart and emotional gravity to the saga. Opposite her is Manoj Pahwa, playing Aasmaan’s father. A veteran whose comic timing and dramatic range are equally legendary, Pahwa promises warmth and wit in equal measure.
Raghav Juyal, the dancer turned actor with impeccable comic chops, joins as Aasmaan’s loyal best friend, ensuring the story has plenty of sparkle alongside the fireworks. Gautami Kapoor, known for her elegance and depth, plays the wife of superstar Ajay Talwar and the mother of Sahher Bambba’s character, bringing balance to the glamour with her grounded presence.
And then comes Bobby Deol. Fresh off his menacing triumph in Animal, Bobby dons the role of Ajay Talwar, a celebrated Bollywood actor whose layered persona could easily steal the spotlight. If his recent career choices are any indication, viewers are in for a performance that blends power with unpredictability.
With such a dazzling ensemble and Aryan Khan at the helm, The Ba**ds of Bollywood* is already shaping up to be a delicious cocktail of talent, legacy, and drama.
