Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s ‘Saiyaara’ mints ..

Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara has quietly rewritten the rules for romantic dramas in 2025. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film launched with modest expectations but has now amassed a staggering Rs 326.8 crore in just 38 days, cementing its place as the second biggest Hindi grosser of the year after Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna’s Chaava.

The journey began with a dream start. Day one brought in Rs 21.5 crore, followed by Rs 26 crore on Day two and Rs 35.75 crore on Day three. By the end of its opening week, Saiyaara had already raked in Rs 172.75 crore, signalling a blockbuster in the making.

Weeks two and three continued the magic. The film earned Rs 107.75 crore in its second week, pushing the total well past Rs 280 crore. Despite competition from Mahavatar Narsimha, Saiyaara’s youthful charm, chartbuster music, and Mohit Suri’s signature mix of romance and heartbreak kept audiences coming back. By week three, another Rs 28.25 crore flowed in, with the film holding strong across multiplexes in metros and tier-2 cities alike.

Even as collections naturally slowed in week four, Saiyaara’s staying power impressed trade experts. Rs 14.1 crore in week four and Rs 2.95 crore in week five only highlighted its loyal following. The sixth weekend reaffirmed its strength, adding Rs 1.87 crore over three days, bringing the 38-day total to Rs 327.67 crore.

Now Saiyaara is poised to face a fresh wave of love on screen with Param Sundari, headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. But for now, Saiyaara’s blend of romance, music, and emotion has made it one of 2025’s most delightful box office surprises.
