Special train from Bengaluru to Vizag announced to manage Diwali rush

In response to the anticipated surge in passengers during the Deepavali and Chhath Pooja festivals, South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a special one-way train service from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam. Train No. 08544 will depart from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) at 3:50 PM on Wednesday, October 22, and is scheduled to reach Visakhapatnam at 1:30 PM the following day. This initiative is part of SWR's broader efforts to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the festive season.
