Monsoon unveils a unique side of India’s wildlife sanctuaries, with lush landscapes and revitalized ecosystems. Several tiger reserves remain accessible during this season, offering thrilling sightings amid vibrant greenery.

Jim Corbett National Park (Uttarakhand) remains partially open, especially the Jhirna and Dhela zones. Periyar Tiger Reserve (Kerala), with its rain-washed forests, provides excellent boat safaris. Tadoba (Maharashtra) and Satpura (Madhya Pradesh) continue to attract visitors thanks to their scenic beauty and relatively better accessibility in rains.

In Karnataka, Nagarhole and Kabini are ideal for spotting big cats during drizzles, while Assam’s Manas National Park offers raw monsoon wilderness alongside tiger and elephant sightings.

These parks not only promise encounters with tigers but also let travelers witness nature at its most dramatic. Monsoon travel here requires preparedness but the rewards are wild and unforgettable.
