iOS 26 Liquid Glass design has iPhone users divided, here is how to make it clearer

iOS 26 introduces a new “Liquid Glass” aesthetic that makes UI elements more translucent and gives a seamless glass-look, some users love it, others find it too fuzzy. You can tone it down by enabling Reduce Transparency in Settings, Accessibility, Display & Text Size, which darkens text and menus. Turning on Increase Contrast in the same menu adds outlines to elements to improve clarity. You can also set app icons to “Tinted” via home-screen edit mode and combine these tweaks for the clearest version of the Liquid Glass UI.
