At Meta Connect 2025, Meta introduced the Ray-Ban Display smart glasses (codename “Hypernova”), featuring a built-in monocular display on the right lens and two 12MP cameras, along with an EMG wristband for gesture control. They weigh about 69 grams, look like regular glasses but are thicker at the temples, and include AI features such as live translation, captioning, navigation, notifications, and voice/photo capture. Battery life is around 6 hours of active use, with a charging case providing about 30 extra hours. Priced at US$799, they will be available from September 30.
