Intstagram, Facebook Add Support for Meta AI-Powered Reels Translation in Hindi and Other Languages

Meta has expanded its AI-powered translation feature for Reels on Facebook and Instagram to include Hindi and Portuguese, in addition to English and Spanish. This allows creators to automatically translate, dub, and lip-sync their videos, making content accessible to a wider audience. Using voice cloning and optional lip-sync, the tool mimics the creator’s tone for a natural effect. Creators can enable it via the "Translate your voice with Meta AI" option, and translated Reels are labeled accordingly, letting viewers choose the original or translated version. The feature is available for Facebook creators with 1,000+ followers and all public Instagram accounts in supported countries, with more languages planned for the future.
