Tesla has officially introduced the Model Y SUV to the Indian market, marking a significant entry in the premium EV space. Offered in two variants Long Range and Performance the Model Y is priced starting at ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries are expected to begin later this year via Tesla’s local partners.
The Long Range variant boasts a range of up to 533 km on a single charge, while the Performance model focuses on speed, clocking 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Both versions come equipped with Tesla's signature minimalist interior, a panoramic glass roof, and the 15-inch touchscreen that controls nearly all car functions.
Tesla is currently accepting bookings via its India website. With its competitive specs and global reputation, the Model Y aims to set a new benchmark for electric mobility in the country’s premium auto segment.
