Google's July Pixel Drop Brings Free AI Pro, Smarter Features to Pixel Devices

Google’s July 2025 Pixel Drop has rolled out a host of AI-driven upgrades for Pixel users, with a standout offering free Gemini AI Pro subscriptions for Pixel 8, 8 Pro, and Pixel Fold owners. The update enhances everyday usage with features like Summarize in the Recorder app and Smart Reply in Gboard, making on-device tasks faster and more intuitive.

The Pixel 8a is also getting Circle to Search and improved Call Screen functionalities, previously limited to higher-end models. Pixel Tablet users benefit from redesigned interfaces and a more fluid Hub Mode experience. Notably, Pixel Fold now supports Interpreter Mode on dual screens, boosting real-time translation usability.

With this drop, Google sharpens its focus on integrating practical AI into daily workflows, elevating the Pixel lineup as a serious productivity contender.
