What Actually Happened In Andy Pycroft-Pakistan Team Meeting - ICC Insider Reveals Details

Pakistan had threatened to pull out of their Asia Cup match against UAE over issues with match referee Andy Pycroft, accusing him of violating the Spirit of Cricket during the toss in their India game, including alleged prohibition on handshakes and exchange of team sheets. The ICC reviewed Pakistan Cricket Board’s claims, found Pycroft had followed rules and was simply relaying instructions from the venue manager. Pakistan maintained objections, but after ICC declined to remove him, a meeting between Pycroft, Pakistan's captain and team management was held. Pycroft apologized for any miscommunication, reiterated no breach of conduct, and ICC asked PCB for specific evidence as it awaits Pakistan’s formal inquiry request.
