Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had been unbeaten on 173 overnight, was disastrously run out early on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies after a mixup with captain Shubman Gill, adding just two more runs before the dismissal; furious over being dismissed, Jaiswal refused to leave the field immediately, telling Gill “mera call hai (it was my call)” twice, while on-field umpire Richard Illingworth eventually intervened and asked him to walk off after raising his finger.
