The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the revised schedule for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season, confirming that the final will take place on June 3. The tournament had to adjust its fixtures due to the upcoming general elections in the country.
The playoffs will begin with Qualifier 1 in Ahmedabad on May 28. The Eliminator and Qualifier 2 will be hosted in Chennai on May 29 and May 31 respectively. The grand finale is set for June 3 in Chennai.
These updates come after the initial schedule only covered matches until May 17, due to logistical concerns tied to the elections. With the full itinerary now released, fans can look forward to a clear roadmap to the finale.
The revised schedule ensures a smooth conclusion to the season, balancing the cricketing calendar with national events, and setting the stage for an exciting climax to the tournament.
