Health Alert: These Fruits May Worsen Gut Issues, Diabetes, and High Blood Pressure

Certain fruits, despite their nutritional value, may not be ideal for individuals battling gut disorders, diabetes, or hypertension, experts caution. High-fructose and high-glycemic index fruits like mangoes, grapes, bananas, and lychees can spike blood sugar levels, making them unsuitable for diabetics.

People with gut sensitivity or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) are advised to avoid apples, pears, and watermelon due to their high FODMAP content, which can lead to bloating, gas, and discomfort. Similarly, canned fruits and packaged juices often contain added sugars and preservatives, posing additional risks for those with high blood pressure or blood sugar issues.

Nutritionists recommend opting for low-GI, fiber-rich fruits such as berries, guavas, and papayas, which are better tolerated and provide steady energy without abrupt sugar spikes. Personalized dietary planning and moderation remain key to managing these health conditions effectively.
