Kim Kardashian once again proved that beauty is her ultimate sport, and the playing field is… needles, lasers, and substances that most of us wouldn’t let within a five mile radius of our faces. On her girls’ trip to Korea, the reality queen turned beauty daredevil dragged Khloé Kardashian, La La Anthony, Stephanie Suganami, and aesthetician Vanessa Lee straight into Seoul’s skincare underworld and naturally, the internet lost its mind.
One snap shows Kim’s brows and hairline taped down, her face glowing a shade of crimson that screamed “fresh out of the laser lab.” In another, she’s casually having a mysterious black substance injected into her arm. Rumour has it, it was blood — because of course Kim would let Dracula handle her skincare if it meant a sharper jawline.
Let’s not forget, this is the same woman who made the “Vampire Facial” a pop culture phenomenon back in 2013. Since then, she’s tested facials infused with everything from 24 karat gold dust to, yes, salmon sperm — allegedly loved by A-listers like Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Aniston. So honestly, a little laser burn in Korea is basically light work for her.
Khloé wasn’t about to let her sister steal the freaky glow either. She posted her own pic wrapped in gauze and slathered with mystery goo, looking like a chic mummy on a spa day. Because if the Kardashians know one thing, it’s that skincare should look terrifying before it looks flawless.
Korea’s reputation as the mecca of high tech beauty clearly lived up to the hype, and Kim soaked it all up like the skincare junkie she proudly is.
