OG box office collection day 5: Pawan Kalyan film close to making ₹150 crore despite dip, Ram Charan attends screening

Sujeeth’s gangster drama They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan, has earned nearly ₹150 crore domestically in just five days despite a Monday dip, with its India total standing at ₹147.65 crore and worldwide collections crossing ₹250 crore in the first weekend. The film opened with massive paid premieres that alone brought in ₹21 crore, with ticket prices hiked to ₹1000 in Andhra Pradesh and ₹800 in Telangana, followed by a ₹63.75 crore opening day. While it saw a sharp drop of 71% on Friday with ₹18.45 crore, it bounced back to earn ₹18.5 crore each on Saturday and Sunday. Pawan, who had been unwell before the release, joined the team at a Hyderabad screening where his nephew Ram Charan was also present. The makers expect business to pick up again during the upcoming Dasara holiday week.
