Nagarjuna recently shared his thoughts on the 4K re-release of his iconic 1989 film Shiva, expressing nostalgia and pride as he described the experience of watching it again as “reliving a milestone in Telugu cinema.” He credited director Ram Gopal Varma for transforming his career and shaping the industry with the film’s groundbreaking storytelling and technical brilliance. When asked if his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni would consider remaking Shiva, Nagarjuna humorously said they “don’t have the guts” to take on such a classic. He added that while Shiva remains irreplaceable, he would love to reunite on screen with his wife, Amala Akkineni, in the future.
