In her latest Instagram post, the veteran star revisited the making of Samundar Mein Naha Ke from the 1983 film Pukar, a number still remembered for its sunlit romance with Amitabh Bachchan and its postcard views of the Goan shore.

The actress revealed that the song carried particular weight as it was Bachchan’s very first project after his near fatal accident during the filming of Coolie in 1982. The atmosphere on set, she recalled, was especially spirited, charged with relief and joy at seeing Big B back before the camera.

For Zeenat herself, the shoot was a study in contrasts. She may have looked effortless in her white beachwear, rolling with the waves while Bachchan circled her with theatrical flourish, but behind the allure lay a private battle.
