Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay is a towering figure in Bengali literature and art. More than just a tribute to a beloved story, this re-release also honors the remarkable launchpad that marked Vidya Balan’s unforgettable debut. Yet she persevered with unwavering self-belief, finally winning the role in what became a defining moment for her career.
